Finding the perfect bed is key to your happiness – it’s even been proven by science that when you have good sleep, your mood improves, and you have a more positive outlook on life. So, getting a bed that’s both comfortable and looks good is very important, and we’ve created an amazing range of beds that look incredible, and to which you can add all types of mattresses.
Whether you like a simplistic and minimal design, or you prefer something a bit more exciting for your bedroom, we have lots of beds to pick from, and we’ll explain some of the incredible designs and benefits of picking different types of beds below.
When you want to buy a bed, you’ll want to consider the size of bed that you want first. If you have a smaller room, opting for a double bed will make more sense than a king size bed, if you want to be able to fit more bedroom furniture into your room! King size beds have lots of room, as they’re generally 150cm wide and 200cm long (5ft wide by 6ft 6in long), meaning they’re very wide, leaving you plenty of room between sleepers, or for just yourself.
King size bed frames tend to have slightly more limitations on their design because of their size, but you can still be guaranteed beautiful styles that will look great next to your bedside cabinets.
Double beds will leave you a lot more room for additional furniture in your room, like accent chairs and double wardrobes if you’re limited on space. They’re also just as comfortable as king size beds, and can come in a wider variety of styles thanks to being slightly smaller – double beds are typically 135cm wide and 190cm long (4ft 6ins wide and 6ft 3ins long). This means it can be less expensive to get a bed that’s made from an expensive material such as oak or brass.
Single beds are great for both guest rooms and kids’ rooms alike, thanks to their smaller size. We have a fun and exciting collection of bed frames for kids, from tepee bed frames to under bed desk frames and bunk beds. We also have a collection of single beds that are more mature and look great in a smaller guest room.
