Made from pre-seasoned cast iron, the VonShef griddle pan is non-stick. The seasoning process involves baking vegetable oil on to the surface at a high temperature, creating a naturally non-stick surface, without the need for any chemical coating.
The heat treatment allows the oil to penetrate into the pores of the iron to give it easy-release properties without the health worries associated with some chemicals. You can easily maintain the surface by rubbing in a little fresh oil after washing in soap and water.
Cooking with a griddle pan helps you to create tasty and healthy meals. The raised griddle surface allows any fat to drain away. The lip on the side of the pan enables easy disposal of cooking liquids.
