What is a wok pan?

Woks generally come in quite a large size, as these pans were traditionally made in China to cook large batches of food to feed large multi-generational families. Made from cast-iron, these pans were designed to last for a very long time and are incredibly durable.

Their high sides and round bottom ensure that you only need to use a small amount of cooking oil, which makes food healthier. Modern woks are also very lightweight and come with either one long handle or two side handles, so that you can serve straight from the hot pan.
