This is why we announced in 2021 that we have become an Employee Shared Business through the creation of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

The Employee Ownership Trust holds a controlling stake in the company on behalf of its employees. This structure means the founders sold 51% of the business to the EOT, demonstrating the commitment the founders have to the future of the business and the importance of their employees.

It is also part of our goal to become one of the best companies to work for, both in the Northwest and the UK.

The move to an EOT builds on Vonhaus’s core values: we empower our people with the autonomy to innovate, create, and own it. The future belongs to those who make it.

Vonhaus’s ongoing success will now enable all our people to benefit as the value of the business increases and our e-commerce site, Vonhaus.com, continues to grow.

Annual Tax Free Profit Related Pay (PRP Bonus)

Our people are what set us apart: they drive our success. This is why we announced in 2021 that DOMU Brands has become an Employee Shared Business through the creation of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

Being 51% employee owned, this provides you with the following benefits:

• Annual tax free Profit Related Pay bonus* (details below).

• The opportunity to make suggestions on how to improve for both employees and customers.

• We offer an annual profit related bonus payment of up to 5% of your salary (after 6 months service), and even better, it is tax free up to £3600 (per tax year).

Holidays

We offer a generous holiday package to all our employees, which exceeds statutory holiday entitlement:

• Our holiday entitlement starts at 30 days, increasing to 35 after 5 years (inclusive of Bank holidays).

• You can also take advantage of our holiday buy/sell scheme.

Company Sick Pay

We know that no one wants to be ill, and that sometimes it just can’t be helped, and we want to support our employees whenever that may be the case.

That’s why we offer Company Sick Pay for employees who have been with us for more than 6 months.

Pension

To give you a little support for the future, we offer a defined contribution pension scheme.

You can contribute at least 5% of your annual salary (or more if you like!) and we will throw in a contribution of our own. You’ll find details of our contribution in your contract.

We’re very proud of our product; they’re the best in the business, and we want to share them with the people who help bring them to life.

That’s why we offer our employees a 30% discount on our products.
