Juicing – the process of extracting the nutritious juices from fresh produce using a blender – offers a fun, explorational alternative to hitting your five a day.

While it shouldn’t replace a balanced diet rich in whole foods, juicing can supercharge your nutrient intake, provide delicious on-the-go nutrition, and get the whole family involved in recipe research and, of course, testing!

So, whether you're kickstarting a healthy lifestyle or boosting your family's well-being, you can rely on our ten produce-packed juice recipes - each with 25% of your produce RDA - to put a spring in your step this year!

How to make fruit and vegetable juice in 15 minutes

Our 15-minute juice recipes serve two people and follow the same three-step format. For different volumes of juice, simply adjust the ingredients list accordingly.

Step 1

Chop the ingredients of your chosen juice (below).

Step 2

Starting from the top and working your way down the ingredients list, blend each fruit/vegetable in your juicer according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 3

Fill two glasses with ice (optional) and pour the juice into the glasses before serving immediately, or pop in the fridge and drink within an hour.

And voila, you have yourself a nutrient-packed batch of fresh juice – it’s that simple!

How to make juice without a juicer or blender

No juicer? No problem. You can whip up all our delicious juice recipes with the help of your trusty hand blender and some cheesecloth – just remember to wear rubber gloves to prevent staining.

  • Coarsely chop your chosen ingredients and blend them until liquefied.
  • Cut two 24-inch-long pieces of cheesecloth.
  • Completely unfold each piece before laying one piece on top of the other.
  • Fold the double stack in half, so you have a 4-layer stack of cloth.
  • Line a large bowl with the cheesecloth and pour the liquefied produce into the centre.
  • Gather the cloth’s edges in one hand while twisting and squeezing the bundle with your other hand to extract all the juice from the pulp.
